About me

I'm Bledi. Born in Albania, obsessed with its stories.

I don't run a tour company. I take small groups of curious people around my country and the Balkans, and I try to make every day feel personal.

My story

I never planned to become a tour guide.

For years, I studied pharmacy and built a career in healthcare. I enjoyed helping people, solving problems and being someone others could rely on. But whenever friends visited Albania, I found myself volunteering to show them around. I loved watching people discover places I'd known my whole life — the mountains, the coastline, the historic towns, and above all, the people.

The turning point came when a friend asked me to host a visitor for a few days. We explored without rushing, followed local recommendations and let curiosity shape the journey. Years later, she still messages me about moments from that weekend.

That's when I realized what I loved most wasn't following a schedule — it was helping people connect with a place in a meaningful way.

Before long, weekends spent showing friends around became something more. I traded routines for roads and every new guest became an opportunity to share the Albania I know and love.

More than ten years later, I still believe the best parts of Albania can't be planned. They're found in unexpected invitations, long coffees, family tables and stories shared between strangers who quickly stop feeling like strangers.

That's the Albania I love introducing people to. And that's the Albania you'll experience when you travel with me.

"When you travel with me, you don't just see Albania. You meet it."
